Client Growth Manager

As we lean into the next phase, we are looking for a Canada-wide Client Growth Manager to join our fantastic Professional Services team!
The Role
If you’re invigorated by happy customers and make it your mission to understand what customers want (and need!), we’d love to hear from you. This role is critical for quarterbacking the entire client journey, ensuring that they are treated like VIPs along every step.
Reporting to the Head of Business, GrowPilot, you will be responsible for engaging with their own portfolio of clients, coordinating with support team members to ensure that we are delivering performance and value throughout the engagement. You will manage existing customer relationships, grow a pipeline of new opportunities with current customers, and maximize each client's potential for success.
GrowPilot is the managed services branch of CoPilot AI dedicated to building systems that deliver scalable and predictable results. GrowPilot Client Growth Manager play a critical role in CoPilot AI’s ambitious growth plans and seamlessly combine industry knowledge, innovative vision, emotional intelligence, thought leadership, and a solutions-driven approach, to promote excellence in alignment with CoPilot AI’s people-first philosophy.
What you'll do:
- Client Engagement and Maintaining Customer Relationships. You will be the face of GrowPilot to the customer, whether it be jumping on meetings, sending over updates or being on hand to answer questions - you will be the go-to person for all things related to their GrowPilot engagement. You will extract and decipher client needs and objectives, to steer the lead gen strategy. You’ll navigate working with different client stakeholders ensuring that the relevant added value is communicated to each party. You will not only connect about areas for improvement, but you will celebrate their wins. We pride ourselves in becoming an extension of our client’s team, and we go the extra mile to deliver a VIP experience.
- Driving Performance with Focus on Data and Strategic Thinking. Our client’s success is our success. We are looking for someone who will come up with creative ideas and hypotheses that help our clients reach their goals. You’ll take your knowledge of the world, their industry, and expertise in lead generation (don’t worry we’ll teach you!) to formulate a tight cold outbound lead generation strategy for our clients. You’ll need to dive deep into the data to understand what is contributing to hitting objectives and what is not.
- Quarterbacking the client journey. While you’ll have a team to support campaign and reply management, shared resources for campaign strategy, data enrichment and copywriting, you will be the central point that ensures that everything is running smoothly and that our service quality is held to the highest standard. As the main point of contact, you will need great attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and the ability to juggle all the ongoing tasks to hit timelines.
- Be part of the team. We need someone who’s willing to go above and beyond and help to generate ideas and solve problems for our customers. You will cross-collaborate with other account managers, our sales, product & engineering teams and add to the discussion, take on your own projects, and see how you can impact the overall business.
- Own the outcome. At the end of the day: Are you helping our customers grow their business? Are customers renewing and buying more? Are our customers happy to be guided by you?

Who you are:
- 1-3 years of marketing related account management experience, preferably at a marketing agency
- Talented and aspiring learner. You pick up things quickly and you’re not satisfied with knowing enough. You like to try new things and understand how things fit together.
- Extremely organized (you will manage a portfolio of clients that have different needs, timelines and ongoing tasks), proactive, and high attention to detail - you are the final sign-off before the client sees our work, did we miss anything?
- Strong interpersonal skills/empathy and a natural communicator with the ability to build trusting relationships with team members, management, and external partners
- Highly motivated individual with the uncanny ability to come up with solutions
- Data-focused and analytical - you aren’t afraid to dive into the numbers and create experiments to extract gems that can move the needle for our clients
- Problem-solver extraordinaire and thrives in ambiguity
- Ability to connect the dots with the courage to challenge the status quo
- Thrive in a dynamic, move-fast, roll-up-your-sleeves culture
Bonus:
- Experience with LinkedIn’s Sales Navigator
- You’ve consulted for a business in some form or another
- Copy writing or marketing campaign experience
- Spreadsheet wizard (GSuite)

What’s in it for you:
- Competitive Compensation: A competitive annual base salary between the range of $60,000 CAD to $70,000 CAD, commensurate with experience and skill level. Expected on-target earnings will be between $80,000 CAD to $90,000 CAD subject to hitting key performance metrics

Our Interview Process
One of our operating principles is transparency, so we’d like to share our interview process with you:
- Phone Screen: A 30-minute audio Zoom call with member of our People & Culture team or the hiring manager to align on the position, share context about our team and goals, and learn about your interests, skills and experiences.
- Competency Interview: A 1 hour Zoom call with our Head of Business, GrowPilot. We’ll be going through standard interview questions, a mix of behavioural and role related questions. At the end, you’ll be asked to complete a quick 10 minute exercise allowing us a glimpse into your thought process and time management strategies. You’ll be given 5 minutes to prepare and 10 minutes to talk through the exercise.
- Take Home Assignment: This assignment is meant to provide insight into your thinking and potential for tackling some of the day-to-day tasks you might encounter. It’s meant to take no more than 45 minutes!
- Culture Add Interview: A 1 hour Zoom call or in person meeting with our Sales Lead & Senior Account Manager and another team member to assess your alignment with our core values and core competencies. We pride ourselves on having a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative culture where all CoPilotteers are empowered to make decisions and drive our collective success.
- Offer and Reference Checks: If you’ve made it this far, our Head of Business, GrowPilot will give you a call to share the good news with you! We’ll ask you for two professional references and send over the formal offer documents. Then it’s simply a countdown until your start date!
